A meeting of District Security Committee was held under the chairmanship of Garhwa DC Manish Ranjan at DC's chamber, on Friday.
After directive of Chief Minister Raghubar Das to close the bodygaurds and house guards from the representatives and Government officers and non Government persons who are deputed beyond Government manual.
In the meeting it was decided that all body guards and house guards would be closed from representatives and Government officers and non Government persons who are deputed beyond the Government manual in the district.
There are 32 body guards and 34 house guards are deputed beyond the Government manual in the district. All guards would join police line.
It is also decided that home guards, who are deputed beyond Government manual, would also be returning.
After returning of these guards easement in the police in crime control and for the safety of community, they will be deputed at proper places.
In the meeting Garhwa SP Sudhir Kumar Jha, AC Sanjay Kumar, SDO Pashupati Nath Mishra, District Arms Officer Sushama Nilam Soreng, Sargent Major Ramadhar Singh, Intelligence Officer Badal Jain, DSP (Headquarters) Sri Ram Samad were present.
