Garhwa DC Rajeshwari B has inaugurated a day-long district-level science exhibition at Govind Inter college,Garhwa on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, DC appreciated the ideas and efforts put in by the students in preparing the science and maths models. She also added that the projects and models exhibited by the students were outstanding. She said such exhibitions helped in bringing together brilliant students on a common platform so that they could learn from each other and also gave them a chance to lend a voice to their ideas.
DC said that in days peoples are misusing the science and technology, they are using them in crime. Cyber crime is one of them. It should be stopped. Students are presented their models on several important topics.There is no any project has yet been taken up in the district. After excited from the children I would take one of them project in the district.
Garhwa SP Priyadarshi Alok advised that this should be held at block level, so that rural children too connected with this and increase their confidence.DEO Ram Yatan Ram,vice president Nagar panchayat Anil Kumar Pandey,Alakh Nath Pandey, District Project Officer A K Dwivedi. Former president of Nagar-panchayat anita Dutt, Ramanandan Singh and others were also address the exhibition.
Science exhibition held under the supervision of District Education Officer sponsored by Jharkhand Secondary Education Projecr Council. Students belonged to the secondary category participated in the exhibition.
