The district level games and sport as Baal Samagam and Kasturba Sangam was organized on Thursday on the ground of St Stanis laus Kaimo Patra Toli in the venture of Sarwa Shiksha Abhiyan. It was inaugurated by MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat, district council vice president Jafar Khan, BJP leader Rakesh Prasad, DSE Renuka Tigga and DEO Urmila Kumari jointly by lighting candles.
On the occasion MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat said, “Sports and education are complementary to each others. The students have hidden talents that can be extracted out by the teachers. The defeat is worth learning. It helps to recognize our drawbacks.”
The district council vice president Jafar Khan said, “The games and sports are as essential as education. The students must take part in it.”
BJP leader Rakesh Prasad said, “The organization of Baal Samagam and Kasturba Sangam is the matter of proud. By this the students can assure the physical as well as mental development.”
DSE Renuka Tigga said, “In the year 2015 the district runner had told that the players who lost the chances should be disappointed. After every defeat we learn how to win. In 2017 our players would represent at state level.”
Before it the programme was started after flag hoisting. All the players of seven blocks did march past with band and drums. It was also inspected by the guests.
The DEO Urmila Kumari and DSE Renuka Tigga made all the players to take oath. The programme was directed by Arun Ram, MD Aslam and Ganesh lal. The token of thanks was offered by DEO Urmila Kumari. In the programme BEEO Kameshwar Singh, Surendar Singh, Anuradha Rani, DPO Ashok Pandey, teachers Kishor Kumar Verma, Shailendra Kumar Suman, Ajay Prasad, Shiv Kumar Prajapati, Johra Jamal, Savitri Madhur, Menka Prajapati and many CRPs and BRPs played vital roles.
