The district Congress committee has stepped up its activities for membership drive by appointing block and city level committee coordinators for the drive. District president Brajendra Prasad Singh said altogether 13 persons have been appointed as coordinator's who besides keeping on on drive also would be in search of suitable candidates for both the rural and urban civic bodies elections.
Those appointed have been asked to attend a meeting at the district headquarters on January 16 on which day Ashok Srivastava district coordinator for the membership drive would address.
Singh said, our main focus is to add to party members in view of the civic polls.
He also directed all frontal committees office bearers to attend meetings as well as the drive so that the party base may be strengthened
