A meeting was held to review the preparations for the Durga Puja under the chairmanship of DC Paramjeet Kaur in district head office. At the meeting it was decided to celebrate the Durga Puja with fervour. In the meet SP Mrityunjay Kumar, other administrative officers, public representatives and other dignitaries of the district were present.
They all told that this year the Puja is going to start on 25th Sep. there would be a lot of crowd on Sapatami, Ashtami and Navami. On dashmi people gather for fair and Ravan-dahan. In period there would be facilities of water, electricity and securities by police at nearby areas. DC and SP assured the people for proper vigilance of the police security and all other facilities.
In the peace meeting for Puja the DC Paramjeet Kaur, SP Mrityunjay Kumar, CO Mahendra Kumar, SDO Sourabh Kumar, DDC Chhawi Ranjan and other were present.
