The three disgruntled MlAs of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), who had sent their resignation to party chief Shibu Soren protesting against the party’s U-turn on nominating Savita Mahto as party candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections, met Soren on Friday to discuss the issue.
Mathura Mahto, Jagannath Mahto and Vidyut Baran Mahto reached here on Thursday to open their cards after meeting the party chief. According to a close associate of Soren, he has assured them that Savita Mahto will be adequately compensated for not being nominated as party’s Rajya Sabha candidate. “Today all the three MlAs today met Guruji who has assure them that Savita Mahto is also like a family member to her who will be adequately compensated soon by the party,” he said.
The three MlAs are said to have agreed to Guruji’s proposal and the matter is expected to be resolve soon after a formal announcement by there MlAs.
