Chief Secretary RS Sharma on Wednesday stressed on the need to think of a mid-term plan for the construction of a new Secretariat Building. He was speaking during a meeting of building construction department at the Project building in Ranchi.
A discussion was being done on the construction of Additional Secretariat Building, as there was space crunch at the secretariat building that coordinates administrative activities of the State.
Sharma directed the officials present to call a combined meeting soon to clear outstanding issues of the departments. “Matters related to encroachment, pending bills of various departments and matters awaiting clearance should be resolved soon,” he said.
The meeting was attended by the Principal Secretary of building construction department Raj Bala Verma, secretary of art, culture youth affairs & sports Vandana Dadel along with other department officials.
