Palamu Range DIG Vipul Shukla held a meeting with the district police officials on Thursday to review the criminal activities and anti-Naxal operations in the district.
He instructed the police officials to make every efforts to improve the situation and also keep a close watch on the criminal elements for controlling criminal activities. The DIG also reviewed the activity of naxalites at Budha Pahad situated on the border of Garhwa, Palamu of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
He ordered to take immediate action for the execution of pending cases, the arrest of the warranted so that the district can be completely free from crimes and naxal actvities.
Garhwa SP M Arshi reviewed the cases filed in various police stations.
