Director Incharge BSL Amarendu Prakash inaugurated the Amrit Park today in presence of EDs and other senior officers at Bokaro Steel Plant. This has been developed by the officers and workers of HRCF (Hot Rolled Coil Finishing) department of BSL by using waste-scrap materials in the plant. It has been developed as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations (75th year of Independence). As instructed by DIC Prakash, this will not only improve housekeeping in various shops and departments in the plant, but will be aesthetically appealing also where workers can relax during their off time break. Other shops and departments have also been told to develop similar parks by using waste material in plant. This Park has been developed completely in-house under leadership of ED (Works) Atanu Bhowmik and CGM RK Srivastava (HRCF) along with the team of HRCF employees.
