At Human Resource Development Center with the top management of BSL a seminar was organized on the topic “Nai Soch-Nai Disha”. In this programme Director-in-Charge of BSL Amarendu Prakash, Executive Director (Personnel & Administration) Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director (Projects) C Mohapatra, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) S Rangani, Executive Director (Materials Management) A. Srivastava and other senior officers were present. Also large number of steel workers from various departments of the plant participated in the seminar.
In the beginning Neeta Ba, General Manager (HRD) welcomed everyone. Thereafter the Director-in-Charge administered the safety oath to all.Monika Kumari (Public Relations) and Santosh Kumar (EMD) through a presentation presentedto the participants the latest status of production and techno-economic parameters of BSL, comparative data of production and profit of other SAIL plants, challenges and future plans of the plant etc .
In his address, DIC Prakash gave a message to the employees to move forward with a new thinking to achieve the target while facing the current challenges of SAIL and BSL. He exhorted the employees to develop a work culture of innovation in the plant and continuously achieve excellence in all aspects of operations.The Director-in-Charge expressed confidence that with team-work and disciplined efforts, BSL would be able to meet all the challenges successfully.
In the last section of the program, the participants put forth some important suggestions related to their field in front of the senior officers, on which the staging officers gave their views.At the end of the seminar, Amit Anand, Senior Manager (Human Resource Development) extended vote of thanks.
