Bokaro's daughter Bipasha Singh has re-inscribed Bokaro's name on the sports map by winning three gold and one silver medals for India in the Asian Powerlifting Championship. On her return to Bokaro, Bipasha shared her experience by meeting Amarendu Prakash, Director-in-Charge, BSL . DIC Prakash congratulated Bipasha on this achievement and wished her good luck for the future endeavors. It is noteworthy that in the Asian Powerlifting Championship held in Coimbatore from June 17 to June 21, Bipasha has achieved golden success by defeating players from China, Taipei, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Oman, Mongolia, Iran, Iraq, Nepal, Bhutan etc. Bipasha has won three-gold and one silver medal in the 52 kg weight category by lifting 375 kg.
