A diabetes awareness and life style management seminar was organised by lions Club, Bokaro Thermal here on Friday evening at Station club, in which blood glucose level of 75 people including women were examined and 13 cases were confirmed diabetic, they were provided medical advices by Dr H Kumar. A team of J.K. Medical diagnosis centre, Bokaro Thermal examined the people at the camp .
DVC Chief Engineer and project head P Kumar inaugurated the seminar. Dr Kumar while delivering his scientific lecture on the seminar of diabetic and life style management here at station club on Friday evening pointed out that 40 to 50 percent diabetes patients are suffering from erectile dysfunction.
Speaking on the occasion, senior MD Dr H Kumar stressed on the importance of taking preventive measures against diabetes and explained about the preventive measures. He also explained about some of precautions for safeguarding to the patients from the disease.
