BJP, Baghmara MLA Dhullu Mahato surrendered before the SDJM court in Dhanbad on Monday morning later the court sent him to jail in judicial custody. Mahato has several criminal cases against him including sexual harassment of a woman leader (Congress Party).
He was absconding in many cases since 16 February 2020. The Dhanbad police were continuously on the hunt, conducted raids in six other districts to arrest the MLA but all goes in-vain.Earlier on April 8, Jharkhand High Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed MLA accused in a case of sexual exploitation.
