Dhanbad gets second women police station which was inaugurated by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sanjeev Kumar at Tilltand locality of Baghmara block on Sunday. The Tilltand police station is second Mahila police station in district as a women police station is already functional at Sadar police station premises.

The new PS would help both the females in person and their family members to complaints without any hesitation about atrocities as the officer -in- change would remain a female police officer. The PS would cater to population that lives in entire Baghmara police sub division, he said.
