With the number of Corona patients on rise in the coal capital, a city based doctor died while treatment at Orchid hospital Ranchi on Friday morning.
This happens to be the first death of any doctor due to corona here in Dhanbad.
Dr Benu Choudhary ,aged around 60,was posted at the department of preventive and social medicine( PSM) of Patliputra Medical College and hospital ( PMCH) .
She was found Corona positive about a fortnight ago and was shifted to Ranchi based hospital for treatment.
According to family members she also had some other medical complications besides being corona positive. The complications were the main reason why she was admitted to the aforementioned hospital.Her son and husband too happen to be doctor's.
