DGP DK Pandey on Monday inaugurated new Police Station at Thakurgaon near Pithoria where he said that the motive behind bringing police into the villages was to give them full protection and keeping a curb on the criminals. In a bid to make police accessible to more and more people so that effective policing could be done, Police are making all efforts trying to reach out to the maximum number of people.
DGP while inaugurating the Police Station, said that the motive behind establishing the Police Station was to provide more security to the citizens and also to check criminal activities in the area.
later, the DGP also distributed blankets, sewing machines and football among the people and children respectively. “Recently several TOPs and Police Stations have been established. People by looking policemen near them will feel secured,” said the DGP.
