Director General Border Security Force DK Pathak met DGP DK Pandey at the State police headquarters in Ranchi on Thursday and had a thorough discussion over Naxal activities, anti-Naxal operations, training facilities as well as technical achievements of the State police. They also discussed over the ongoing Panchayat Polls as well as the forthcoming lohardaga by-elections in the State.
ADG (Operations) SN Pradhan, during the meeting also put a presentation related to naxal activities in the State while ADG (Special Branch) Anurag Gupta, gave his presentation over data centre related to the initiatives taken by Jharkhand Police in technical field.
Meanwhile, a discussion regarding schemes like Shakti App, online FIR, m-governance, smart policing, CCTVs and execution of composite control room along with naxal surrender policy and construction of memorials in the name of martyrs of the State was also discussed during the meeting.
DG BSF however, promised all support in state police’s anti-naxal operation bering carried out in Jharkhand. DG BSF took keen interest in control room and data centre and M-Governance and also praised the initiatives taken by the State Government.
