Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday lashed out at the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM), saying development is not in its DNA and it cannot achieve any of its poll promises with such acts after attaining power.
"JMM is such a party which did not honour the Andolankaris despite father and son both becoming the Chief Minister. Both of them have worked for their own development what development work can they do for Jharkhand, in JMM's DNA development is not present," he said addressing an election meeting at Kanubeda of Rajnagar.
He said that JMM and Congress' slogan of development of Jharkhand is misguiding.
Both the parties committed Rs 4,000 crore scam when they were in power in the State.
Raghubar Das said that a lot of vote bank politics took place in the name of Icha dam construction.
I assure you no village will be displaced in Icha dam construction. Das also promised in order to meet the demand of the girls here, a women's college will be opened in Rajnagar.
