To fulfill the dreams of the martyrs would be the real tributes to them. They sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation. By their martyrdom we have peaceful life. We must try to fulfill their desires. The village would be made ideal,” said Union Minister Sudarshan Bhagat at Bhounro village of Bhandra block on 208th birth ceremony of Pandey Ganpat Ray.
Bhagat explained the sacrifices of the martyrs and the development plans of the State and the Central Government Dr Vandana Ray described the life of the martyrs. The programme was directed by the member of the martyr’s family Dr Vandana Ray. The thanks giving speech was delivered by secretary of the memorial committee Dukh Haran Sahu and Kuldeep Oraon. Before it an asset of Rs2,23,000 was distributed to 7 women wings at 90 per cent of compensation by land Acquisition Department. In central ceremony many stall were exhibited by several departments.
On the occasion the relatives of the martyr Dr Vandana Ray, Rajendra Nath, Dr Sandhya Rani, BJP leader Bal Krishna Singh, BDO Gautam Kumar, Bindeshwari Oraon, Dukh Haran Sahu and others were present.
