Developing Ranchi tops my priority list: Prasad

Veteran BJP legislator Chandreshwar Prasad Singh, who has been elevated to the post of a Cabinet Minister for the first time, said that developing Ranchi as a capital city tops his priority list.

The Minister also said that he would make all possible efforts to make the city a better place to live in. According to Singh, priorities regarding the people of his constituency, however, will remain the same as earlier. "Now, I will provide true manifestation of a capital city to my constituency, Ranchi," said Singh. In the meantime, my dedication towards the people will never get weakened and being a minister, I will try to perform well. Apart from being a Minister, I am also a representative of my constituency, he added.

Singh rejected the idea of change in his priorities towards the people after becoming a minister and said that his dedication towards his people will never get diminished. "I have been associated with people for a long time and have enjoyed their support as well. Becoming a minister does not change anything. I will continue to provide my services to the people as earlier," said Urban Development Minister CP Singh. Singh said he will try

to speed up the pending works. "I will put honest efforts to achieve what could not be achieved in last 14 years," he said. Singh while asserting that there are innumerable issues related to sewerage, drainage, traffic and encroachment in the city, said that there is a solution for each and every problem in this world. Each one needs to be tackled in a positive way.

"I feel that nobody made an honest effort to solve these problems in the past due to which Ranchi could not be developed as per the expectations of the people," said Singh. As I am probably the first MlA from Ranchi, who has been elevated to the post of a Minister, I have to fulfill my responsibility towards my constituency and will try to turn the dreams of my people true, he added. "I will try to reach the root cause of the different problems and will resolve them completely," he said.
