First agriculture minister of Jharkhand Dev Dayal Kushwaha and former MlA of Barkagaon loknath Mahto came back to their old party BJP with their supporters here on Monday. In a specially organised “Ghar Wapsi” programme at Rishav Vatika, Demotand, veteran BJP leader Yashwant Sinha welcomed both back in the party on this occasion the young leader of Kushwaha Samaj, who was the state president of his society, Umesh Dangi also joined BJP along with his supporters.
Speaking on the occasion Yashwant said that Dev Dayal and loknath Mahto are the two important names of my list from whom I have learned the basic ideology and principals of Bhartiya Janta Party. Some years ago both left me due to some misunderstandings but we all were missing each other and finally today we are once again on the same platform.
Since loknath Mahto and Umesh Dangi are the two important leaders of Barkagaon where agitation is going on against NTPC, Yashwant said that it will be his duties to safe guard the interests of the raiyats of Barkagaon. No one can grab their land without their consent and if required he will lead them on every front.
Four times MlA of Hazaribagh Dev Dayal Kushwaha looked emotional in this program. I was feeling myself lonely since last three years because my friends and well wishers are in BJP and today I am really glad after coming back in the old house. Now I am an old man so it will be my duty to show path to the young generation on whose shoulders the future of our party is nowadays, said Dev Dayal.
Addressing the gathering loknath Mahto said that after leaving BJP I joined AJSU where I got ample respect but the pain of leaving BJP always remained in my heart. Someday ago CM Raghuvar Das and Yashwant Sinha invited me back in the party and I made up my mind to get rid of that pain which was disturbing me since last three years.
Youth leader Umesh Dangi said that we are fortunate to have a leader like Yashwant and Jayant who not only thinks but acts also for the development of the area. I and my followers took this decision to contribute a little in the overall development of Hazaribagh specially Barkagaon.
On this occasion good number of local BJP workers was present at Rishav Vatika, the residence of Yashwant and Jayant Sinha. District president Tunnu Gope presided the program.
