Starp: hospital appears ill prepared for treatment
The dengue cases in Hazaribag district are increasing at an alarming
rate every day. Patients are coming to SBMCH, but hospital
administration is unable to treat the patients. There is no
arrangement of blood component separation machine in the blood bank.
The media representative of sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal has conveyed the
situation of hospital to the deputy commissioner and health minister
Banna Gupta through twitter.
The Sheikh Bhikari Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH) does not seem
ready to treat the dengue patients which are coming to the hospital
for the treatment. The basic amenities are not available in relation
to dengue in the hospital.
The blood bank which is running under the banner of Red Cross is not
having the blood component separation unit in the blood bank. The
doctors are coming to the duty but not treating the dengue patients
thoroughly.
The district administration has not taken the step to prevent the
spread of dengue. There is no arrangement of fogging in the town areas
and also in the remote areas. This is the duty of Malaria department
to make the people of the village areas aware about the disease and
spread the DTD in different streets of the village. The Malaria
department has become the white elephant in the district.
Due to lack of basic amenities for the treatment of dengue patients in
the district, they are bound to shift the patients to Ranchi and other
places for the proper treatment.
In his message the MLA representative Ranjan Choudhary has demanded to
the state government to take early steps to make arrangements to
fulfil basic health needs for the treatment of dengue patients in the
hospital.
