Reacting on the demand of special state for Bihar made by the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former Union Minister and Ranchi MP Subodh Kant Sahay said that the demand made by Kumar was purely political which has nothing to do with the welfare of the people of Bihar, as he could have raised the issue when there was a BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.
“The demands made by Nitish Kumar are purely political which does not aim at the welfare of the people of Bihar. This demand could have been raised earlier also when Atal Bihari Bajpayee was the Prime Minister,” said Sahay.
Sahay was speaking at a ‘Karyakarta Samvad Sammelan’ organised by the Ranchi District Congress Committee ahead of the Municipal elections in the State to co-ordinate between the Congress worker who wish to contest Municipal elections in order to get more and more seats in the coming elections.
