On Saturday late evening a branch of the Delhi Public School was launched by Narendra Kumar, Trustee, DPC Society, New Delhi, at Barkagaon Road, Hazaribagh, by cutting the ribbon.
Before the launching programme, promoters of Hazaribagh branch of DPS Prasant Jaiswal and Nisha Jaiswal said that they had planned to develop a campus of this new school at Shankarpur which is about 2 kms from the town.
The proposed strength of this school will be 3,200 children. They said that DPS Hazaribagh shall have 12,5000 square feet constructed area divided into four blocks. Service before self is the motto of DPS Hazaribagh and the mission of this school will be to provide quality education with equal opportunity to all, to develop sense of equality to make the students self reliant, productive and awakened and to provide the world leaders of tomorrow.
