Secretary to Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Sunil Barnwal on Tuesday while reviewing complaints coming at Jan Samwad Kendra expressed anguish over non-payment of compensation against land acquired even after eight years.
The matter came into light related to Tarhasi block of Palamu where a raiyat was not paid the amount. The Secretary took the negligence seriously and issued show cause notices to land Acquisition officer and Executive Engineer of national highway in the district. Nodal officer has been told to make allotment for this within a week time.
Total 13 matters coming before the grievance redressal cell were taken up for review that included job on compensation, non-payment of scholarships, non-functional anganwadis and power transformer related cases.
