Hitting hard at the financial status of the State senior BJP leader Saryu Roy on Friday said that the Jharkhand Government had become bankrupt as it did not have funds in the treasury to pay salaries to its employees.
The State Bank had also denied giving more funds to the Government as it had already withdrawn more than the limit, he said. Daily bills of several departments are being retuned without payment from treasuries. Roy, therefore, demanded that the Government should declare financial emergency in the State and issue a White Paper on the economic condition so that the people of the could know the real situation.
