In a bizarre incident a person, who was declared burnt to dead in his car in May 11,2016, was found alive at the Meral police here on Thursday. The Faizabaad (Uttar Pradesh) police had lodged an FIR under sections 201 and 302 IPC in the case.
According to police, one Harishanker Singh, a resident of Shardapuram collony, Faizabaad (UP) reached Meral police station on Thursday and stated his story. Singh said to the police that he was kidnapped by the some anti social elements one year back. He somehow succeeded in escaping the captivity and inquired a villager about the place. After knowing that he was in Meral, Jharkhand he reached the police station.
After his statement Meral Officer In-charge informed to the Faizabaad police from where SI Santosh Kumar Tripathi reached the Meral police station. He told a new story regarding the victim Singh. He said that victim was a famous person of Faizabaad and is union leader. He was posted as Assistant Post Master at Faizabaad Post Office. As Assistant Post Master he has allowed to take loan of Rs 25 lakh from the post office. He was taken loan of Rs 25 lakh from the post office and bought a WagonR car. He made nominee to his wife.
In the mean time in an incident took place carried out a burnt dead body was found in his car with registration no. UP 43 M/4778. The family members of deceased identified the dead body of Singh. Police was registered a murder case in the connection on May 11, 2016. After found alive to Singh his family members are very glad. Meral police handed over to the victim to Faizabaad police.
