Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) ordered actions against those who were invloved in the fraudulent withdrawal of money for work of various development schemes under MGNREGA under Nagar Untari subdivision.
In the light of the inquiry report, which confirmed the fraud, DDC Faiz Aque Ahmad Mumtaz has given orders to the BDO to
recover the total of Rs 12.56 lakh rupees from the concerned Panchayat Sevak, Rojgar Sewak, Meth etc., along with 12 per cent interest.
It has also instructed to take legal action against the guilty persons. All the schemes are related under Nagar Untari Sub-division.
In the cases related to check dams, dova and construction of road, without any done work make fraudulent withdrawal.
In the light of the complaint, the Nagar Untari Sub Divisional Officer had inquired and submitted its report to the Deputy Development Commissioner.
Following report the report, DDC has ordered to take legal action and recovery of money from the involved persons..
