Municipal Council chairperson Pawan Ekka on Wednesday met with Deputy Commissioner SB Barwar and discussed about the construction of bus stand in the city.
During the meeting, he suggested that Bakshi Dipa plot can be used for bus stand for which the DC told that the matter was under consideration. Ekka also urged Barwar to handover all responsibilities to handle lalit Narayan stadium, Ajay Udyan and Town hall to the Municipal Corporation. All these are situated in the MC areas and the goal of the NC is to provide better amenities to the people. We are not entitled only to collect holding tax and water tax.”
The DC convinced to look into the matters and come to conclusion at the earliest. Ekka also discussed on the matters of sanitation and future plans of the district.
