Near DC office a help desk has been set up to provide information regarding the issues of the notes of `1000 and `500. The employees of treasury department have been deployed for this. A large number of people are clearing their confusions.
The treasury employees said, “The people have 50 days to exchange their cash. From 10th November to 30th December people may deposit their cash in banks and post offices. If they would not be able to do so then they may deposit till 31st March at the offices decided by Reserve Bank of India.”
