A meeting of Food Supply and Ujjwala scheme held in the Lohardaga collectorate on Monday. Deputy Commissioner Akansha Ranjan presided over the meeting. She reviewed the schemes taking details from the related officials. She enquired about the number of gas connections given to the beneficiaries in the scheme.
The DC ordered District Supply Officer to dispose all the pending applications received in ‘Jansamvad’. She also ordered to organize a workshop on online application. She said that all the rejected applications must be replaced with fresh applications. ‘People from all the classes have to be provided free gas connections. The concerned dealer needs to fix a target of 10 left out applications to be included, she added. The DC asked all Mukhiyas to take special care of the scheme by providing proper guidelines to the needy. Additional Collector Ranjeet Kumar Sinha, Supply officer Rajeev Neeraj, all company representatives and several gas agency owners from across the district were present on the occasion.
