DC Ravishankar Shukla on Tuesday reviewed the progress of different plans going on in the district through different departments in Suchna Bhawan auditorium of the collectorate. He reviewed the progress report of month of June submitted by different departments.
In this review meeting he directed the officials of animal husbandry department to add more and more sakhi mandals with the plans so that the womens of the district could earn more. He directed the officials to allot more than 40 per cent of the plans to the sakhi mandals and to link with the banks.
During review meeting Shukla became angry when he found that the officials of cooperative department have not worked as per direction. Even they have not visited the fertilizers shop of the district which was necessary. In anger he said the officials to submit explanation within three days otherwise he will write to the higher authorities for starting departmental proceeding and action.
In review of MGNREGA and dobha construction scheme the reports were not found satisfactory so DC warned the BDOs to change their work culture and ordered to issue show cause notices to many BDOs.
On the front of E Governance it was found that out of 257 panchayats only 138 have pragya kendras yet and some of them are not working as per the aspirations of the people and administration. He directed the officials to send more and more teachers, sahiyas, nurses, clerks etc. to the district headquarter and other centers of the district where skill development training program is going on.
DC also reviewed result of matriculation exam this year and ordered the officials to identify the schools having poor performance. He also enquired about the teachers who are yet not making their attendance through bio-metric machines and directed to take action against all those.
