DC Hazaribagh Mukesh Kumar has taken a rare but strict decision by issuing compulsory retirement order of a revenue clerk Chandan Kumar Sarkar posted in Chauparan block of the district. He was found guilty of making forgery in the land records and issuing land revenue receipt to the persons who were not the actual owners. DC had constituted a committee to enquire the matter and as per the report of departmental committee he took this decision.
This strong action has created panic among those habitually erring employees of the collectorate and blocks who always create problems before the administration due to their wrong deeds. With this decision DC Mukesh Kumar has cleared his intention that he is not going to spare anyone found guilty in the official works.
Chandan Kumar Sarkar was earlier found guilty in same nature of work about 3 years ago when he was posted in Hazaribagh Sadar block. At that time also departmental committee had given report against him and the then DC had given him the punishment of blockage of five increments and its entry in his service book.
After this strong message the employees of blocks and collectorate looked conscious enough in disposing their day to day work. Now no one wants to be the next victim of this type of strong action. Due to this in every office people are surprised as their works are getting disposed without any hindrance or trouble.
