A review meeting of UID was held in the head of DC Sudhanshu Bhushan Barwar in the district auditorium. In the occasion attorney director of UID Arvind Kumar was present chiefly.
“The work of UID is in the pipeline and is appreciable,” said Kumar at the meet. He also instructed to complete the DBT scheme within a period of 15 days. Ration cards, pension, stipend, lPG are to be connected with DBT. So beneficiaries must have their Adhar Card and bank account.In the meet DDC Jagjeet Singh, SDO Akhauri Shashank Sinha, lDM Sharma Ji, DSE Farhana Khatoon, deputy commissioner Badrinath Choube, BDO Rahul Verma, CO Mahendra Kumar and many officials were present.
“The vaccination, provision of mamta vehicle, blockwise immunity programme, and institutional delivery must be made effective” said SB Barwar in another meet of National Rural Health Mission. He further instructed to check up the pregnant women effectively in Angan Badis, make reports of hemoglobin and weight in time and to encourage the institutional delivery.DC also expressed his anger on the undesired progress of Immunity Programme of Kudu Block. At the moment civil surgeon Rajkumar Beck was present.
Eid celebrated with delight in lohardaga
The Muslim community of lohardaga celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr with a lot of joy on Friday. Before it namaz of Eid-Ul-Fitr was paid in the eastern Eidgah of the city. Anjuman Islamic also paid the namaz of first zamat Eidgah. They passed warm congratulations giving a hug to each other. The festival remained peaceful in the city and people from various communities also seen to have gathered joyfully.
