Ranchi DC Rai Mahimapat Ray today held a review meeting with officials on the preparations of Silli bye elections.
Ray said that the polling personnel will reach the site one day before, while control rooms will be made at the block level where master trainers and reserved personnel will be present.
The polling personnel will be given training for VVPAT machines on May 14 and there will be arrangement for changing the machines if a machine malfunctions.
As many as 58 patrolling parties will be formed for 78 polling booths of Silli.
The DC directed the Deputy electoral officer to hold a meeting with VlWs, clerks, Krishak Mitras and others for disseminating information on the polling process.
