A meeting of all leaders of several communities was called by DC Manjunath Bhajantri to discuss societal concerns. The DC sought help of all in strengthen brotherhoods and goodwill among the communities. It was decided to hold an all communities prayers at Ajay Udyaan on January 3.
In the prayer all the community leaders, district level officials, school students and common denizens would participate. With DC Sharat Chandar Arya, Maulana Shamim Rizwi, father Vinsent Minz, father Ranjeet lakra and father Thomas Pavleen and many others were present.
