Deputy Commissioner Akanksha Ranjan made a field visit to Pakhar panchayat of Kisko block on Thursday. Dumarpath, Banglapath, Pokhrapath and other villages were covered during the visit. The DC also inspected the Panchayat Bhawan in Pakhar.
The people of Pakhar complained to the DC about the issues with ration card and old-age pension in the block. The DC ordered that the problems will be solved at a special camp on June 15.
The DC also instructed that the Panchayat Bhawan in Pakhar be repaired. She also ordered a Common Service Centre to be started in the building. Three dysfunctional water towers in the panchayat will also be repaired. Appointment of ANM for the Aarogyam Bhawan along with repair of Aanganbadi was also ordered.
The DC also instructed officials to provide electricity connections for houses in many areas of the block.
