lohardaga DC Binod Kumar on Friday said that the district administration has done well in the Gram Swarajya and tribal Development plan launched by the government. “The campaign extended Gram Swarajya ran from June 1 to August 15 and the Aadiwasi Jan Uthhan campaign run from Hul Diwas June 30 to August 15 in the district. Under this many ambitious plans were executed such as PM Ujjwala Yojna, PM electrification plan Har Ghar Sahaj Bijli, Ujala Yojna, PM Jan Dhan Yojna, PM Jiwan Jyoti insurance plan, Security insurance plan, vaccination and health services under mission Indra-Dhanush. Part from it 5 themes as agriculture, health, education nutrition and skill development are also to be focused,” he said addressing a press conference here on Friday.
“These plans were run in 154 villages where the number of tribal people is more than 1000. Many teams were set up by the district administration. The review meetings were held. In a total of 117 ambitious villages there is lohardaga also. The cent percent goals of these plans were achieved in prescribed time. This could be achieved by the cooperation of local leaders, administrative officers, media persons and the people of the district. In many other villages apart from 154 villages the plans are being run,” Kumar said.
The DC also thanked and congratulated all the people of the district for this achievement.
