Garhwa DC Manish Ranjan has given several directions to the Non-Government Schools for compliance of RTE Act. For admission of candidates, neither any screening test would be taken nor written or oral test would be taken by the school management. School would not take the interview of the candidate's guardians too. School management will ensure admission under the provisions of the act with transparent mode. School management also ensure that 25 per cent admission of weaker and under BPl class who live in 1 km jurisdiction around school. Jurisdiction of the school would be initiated by the District Education Officer after negotiation with school principal.
DC informed that DSE would be Nodal Officer of the all non-Government school for the free and essential Children Rights Act, 2009. To avoid any trouble in implementation of above provision, DSE woul take guidance from the DEO. DSE would dispose the matter after given necessary directions under provision of Children Rights Act, 2009.
