A meeting on food security was held under the chairmanship of DC Manjunath Bhajantri in the district head office. The DC directed to select the beneficiaries under food security plan on the basis of social, economical and caste wise census using data base.
Bhajantri said, “Till 30 of this month upload the list in the district site. From April 1 to 4 the booth wise distribution of the list will be prepared. From April 5 the booth level employees will start the verification and collection work. In the list the names of left over persons would also be included.
The digitalisation of collect data will be done in two stages. First from April 16 to April 30 and secondly from 2nd May to 8th May. The prepared list will be approved in Gram Sabha on 15th May. Then the beneficiaries under Food Security Plan will be given benefits.” On the occasion SDO Saurabh Kumar Sinha, BDOs and Cos of all the blocks were present.
