Garhwa DC Neha Arora has maintained that the matter of reported abortion of a student from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya was untrue and the case had been wrongly projected.
A team formed to investigate have submitted the report and found that there was no such case of pregnancy and abortion involved into this. Media reports couple of days ago had suggested that a girl of the residential school studying in Class VI got preganent and her condition deteriorated during abortion. The DC took the matter seriously and set up an inquairy after constituting a four members committee led by DDC Jagat Narayan Prasad. Three other members were Ranka SDO Javed Anwar Idrishi,District Education Officer Brij Mohan Kumar and Ranka CDPO. DCdirected them to submit a report within 24 hours after inquiring the matter.
