The meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority was held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. Various points were discussed in it, in which the recommendation to pay compensation to the dependents of 10 persons who died due to drowning in Lohardaga district was unanimously approved. Similarly, approval was given to pay compensation to the dependents of four persons who died in a road accident. Approval was given for compensation to 25 beneficiaries who suffered partial or complete house damage due to heavy rains.
Approval was given for compensation to the dependents of 02 persons and 10 animals who died due to lightning. Instructions were given for verification in the cases of payment to the dependents of the fire. Apart from this, necessary discussion was held on the topic of forest and environment. Forest Divisional Officer Arvind Kumar, District Transport Officer cum Additional Collector Saurabh Prasad, DSP Headquarters Prameshwar Prasad, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajmohan Khalkho, District Public Relations Officer Paltu Mahato, District Animal Husbandry Officer Dr. Anup Kumar, District Agriculture Officer Shiv Pujan Ram, Municipal Council were present in the meeting.
