This chariot will visit various blocks of the district and make the common people aware about the prevention of lightning and Covid vaccination. This is a joint initiative of District Disaster Management Authority Bokaro and World Vision India AP Bokaro. On the occasion, Chaudhary said that five awareness chariots have been flagged off on Wednesday.
In this, two chariots will make the common people aware about the prevention of lightning. While the incidents of thunderstorms are quite frequent in the district, in the last two years there has been a lot of loss of life and property due to thunderstorms. That is why this awareness chariot is being flagged off. Their number will be increased further in the future,added DC.
The main objective of the government and district administration is to make the common people aware in this regard. He said that many people die every year due to lightning. In such a situation, what precautions should be taken by the common people during the thunderstorm, people will be informed about it through the awareness chariot.
The awareness vehicle will make people aware of how to stay safe by sharing information related to thunderstorms in different villages of the district. The Deputy Commissioner said that in the blocks and panchayats where the possibility of thunderstorms is the highest, people will be made aware of precautionary measures.
