DC Binod Kumar called a meeting of administrative officers and members of peace committee here on Thursday. Kumar made an appeal to celebrate the festival Dussehra peacefully.
“The denizens of Lohardaga celebrate all festivals very peacefully. In Dussehra we also appeal the people for the same. Te people should not go behind any rumour. In social media they must be cautious. The admin of Whatsapp groups would be responsible for spreading any rumour by their members. The district administration would be on toes to avoid any untoward situation. The teams of doctors, municipality and fire brigade would be ready. The people also must be cautious of the cyclonic storm Titli and heavy rainfall,” he said.
SP Priyadarshi Alok said, “The police would be ready at each nook and corner of the city to assure the safety measures.
