Garhwa DC Neha Arora on Wednesday expressed her displeasure on the slow pace of construction of toilets. After holding a review meeting with the BDOs of five blocks Meral, Bisunpura, Sagama, Bardiha and Danda alongwith PHED official the DC directed them speed up the work.
Arora said that the district adminitration aims to make Danda block ODF block by August15, 2016. After such date no person would be allowed for attending nature’s call in open field.
After given applications, several female Mukhiyas under Kandi block have demanded to declare their panchayasts ODF.
The DC directed the block coordinator of Kandi block to submit a report regarding construction of toilets after conducting base line survey by July 31.
Kandi block would be also declare ODF block by end of the year. DC said in the meeting toilet scheme are very important scheme. These blocks are made Open Defecation Free (ODF).
She suggested at first to made ODF of villages then automatically block would made ODF block. So you make plan from village by village. She again said that You can keep away to himself from the diseases after using of toilets.
At present who all are constructing toilet they should must use it. You make toilets near the home which you could easily use. DDC Jagat Narayan Prasad all BDOs of above panchayat, Assistant
