After days of toiling in far off areas of their constituencies under the blazing sun, lok Sabha candidates of four seats where polls were conducted on Thursday, found an opportunity to talk to their party cadres in a comparatively relaxed mood and take their feedback about elections on Friday.

In loharadga where the BJP, Congress and TMC candidates are said to be in a close fight with each other hot discussions for victory and defeat has started. BJP candidate Sudarshan Bhagat said in a press conference that there was wave of party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in all over the country. “Voters in the area used their votes

fearlessly. This is a good sign for the country,” he said.

Bhagat called a meeting with  party members of Gumla, Sisai, Bharno, Bero and lohardaga to take stock of the election and expressed his gratitude to the voters and party cadres. The sitting MP of lohardaga appeared happy and said that good feedback from voters and party workers was the result of mutual cooperation.

Congress’ Dr. Rameshwar Oraon and TMC candidate Chamra linda also called

meetings to discuss their situation after polling in the constituency. linda called a meeting at his Ranchi residence on Thursday evening itself.

Interestingly, some of the candidates seem to have gone out of sight after voting. There were nine candidates Sudarshan Bhagat (BJP), Dr. Rameshwar Oraon (Congress), Chamra linda (TMC), Veerendra Bhagat (JVM), lal Sai Kumar (CPI-Ml), Jayram Indrawar (BSP) and independents including Ranjeet Oraon, Naval Kishor Singh Kherwar, Mahendra Oraon. The result of their destiny is locked in EVMs till May 16.

In Palamau constituency also, for some contestants the day after the voting Friday was a day of taking feedback from their party workers about the percentage of voting in their favour, while some packed up from here to Ranchi for some more political errand.

BJP contestant V D Ram, an Ex DGP, on being approached said, “I will be away from here for some time as the state BJP leadership desires that I  be a part of the campaigners for those BJP contestants whose constituencies are still to go to the polls  in the coming phase.”  Ram said he would be campaigning in Jamshedpur for the BJP candidate Vidyut Varan mahto there.

CPI Ml (liberation) contestant Sushma Mehta was contacted by the Pioneer on phone who said, “I am busy meeting my people and getting information about the poll done Thursday April 10.” There is no day as such for her to rest as she claimed, “My life and my time are for the cause of the poor people and for them I am ready to be on their side till the last day of my life. I fight for the cause of the citizens honestly and sincerely,” she added.
