Chief Minister Raghubar Das today promised that if the BJP is voted back to power an Aluminium factory and a bypass road will be built at Lohardaga. Addressing people in a rally at Lohardaga in the presence of BJP national president Amit Shah, Das said that the double engine government will catapult growth in Jharkhand.
Das said that he has talked to Kumar Mangalam Birla and Vedanta with regard to setting up an Aluminium factory at Loharada and the plan will be executed soon. “Due to the wrong policies of the Congress, coal and bauxite are going out.
The Government is aware of the problems being faced by the Lohardaga residents by not having a bypass road. Our steps in this direction have increased. Bypass road construction will also begin next year.
The Government has been working tirelessly to improve the situation of women, tribals, youths and we are working to fulfil your aspirations,’ he said.
Das said that due to lack of local policy, appointments were being interrupted in the State. “We made a local policy, which the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha kept hanging and did politics on the same for years. After the formation of local policy, the recruitment process started and in thousands of people we provided employment including 90 per cent of the local youth here. Bench and desk were arranged in about 35,000 schools in 5 years. Pahariya Battalion was formed for the youth of primitive tribe,” he said.
Das said that the Congress made farmers indebted. “Concerning the farmers, the Modi government implemented the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and provided economic benefits to the farmers.
Following the footprints of the Central Government, the State Government also started the Chief Minister Krishi Aashirwad Yojana.
Now, the farmers here are getting minimum Rs 11,000 and maximum Rs 31,000 for raising resources in agricultural work through the government schemes of double engine,” added he.
The CM said that due to double engine government several development works have been done in peaceful environment in the last five years. “The people of Latehar, Palamu, Garhwa lived in panic before 2014. We drove them out of panic. Now the people here are fear free. The double engine government took strong measures to end the insurgency.
Development reached every household in Jharkhand. This has been our endeavour. Roads and bridges were built. Latehar’s of Garu and Sarju; Lohardaga’s Pesharar got electrified under Saubhagya scheme. Now, water is reaching from house to house. By 2022, we will complete the task of supplying water through the pipeline,” he said.
Das said that the women of the State got rid of smoke with UUJWALA scheme. “The homeless got accommodation.
57 lakh people are being linked to the health insurance scheme.
Give a strong Government bypassing all caste and creed, because in the last 5 years only because of a stable and strong Government, we have been able to take Jharkhand on the path of development,” appealed Das to the masses.
