Neev, an organization conducting workshops for Dandiya in collaboration with lions Club of Ranchi Youth is witnessing a large enrollment of house wives and teenage girls. “We did not expect that the number women would be increasing at Ranchi. It feels good to see them dancing in fusion songs composed of traditional songs of Rajasthan and Gujarat,” said organizer Vaibhav Saboo.

“ladies particularly between the age group of 20 to 27 years are turning up in large numbers. There are hardly few men seen practicing the same. However, in couple performances with wives, men are showing interest,” he added.
