latehar police aptly handled a sensitive issue wherein a section of people belonging to Yadav community was resisting the burial of a minor girl belonging to a Dalit family on a plot of land at Tarwadeeh. The Yadavs claimed the plot of land as theirs own.
When the dispute arose both the parties reached latehar police station and filed a complaint against each other. The police acting wise first ensure the burial on the plot of land which was traditionally going on for several years and then initiated land measurement by officials to settle the issue once and for all.
latehar police station inspector Ramesh Singh confirming this feud between the community said the issue did reach the police station from both the sides. “A consensus was evolved wherein both the sides were asked to get the measurement done of the land in question,” he said.
