Chief Secretary Sajal Chakraverty met officials of Industry Department on Wednesday and underlined the purpose of Jharkhand Industry Policy-2012. He said that the policy means adding value to the natural resources and generate employment opportunities along with promoting industries.
The CS also mentioned about water tariff provision in the policy and suggested idea for promoting water concervation by the industry. He also directed the Department to provide details about industrial land so that mapping of it in municipal corporation area can be done. He also stressed on exemptions provided to industries on power tariff and existing policy gap in the rebate on entertainment tax in multiplexes. Industry Secretary Himani Pandey and other senior officials were also present in the meeting.
